Extrusion of Strip Material

What do We extrude?

Materials / Substrates Metallic substrates such as

  • Stainless Steel
  • Steel
  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Aluminium
  • as well as special materials
Material thicknesses 0,1 – 0,5 mm, other material thicknesses on request
Material widths 2 – 13 mm, other material widths on request
Extrusion plastics
  • PC (Polycarbonate)
  • ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
  • PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
  • PP (Polypropylene)
  • TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
  • PA (polyamide)
  • Polyolefin plastics
  • other thermoplastics on request
Type of extrusion Tube extrusion, – uniform plastic distribution around the carrier material.
Customized final geometries can also be extruded upon request. Example – Nose clip wire

How do We extrude?

To achieve a good adhesive bond between the strip material and the selected plastic, the strip material is coated with a bonding agent suitable for the plastic in the first step. The next step involves extrusion of the substrate material with the selected plastic. Customer-specific end geometries can also be produced on request. As a special solution, the plastic film can be equipped with an additional function, for example with extruded copper strands to serve as electrical conductors.

What do We extrude for?

Insolation

You need an insulating layer with good chemical stability as well as a high electrical insulation capacity? Here we are happy to help. Our insulating layers are used, for example, in the field of electromobility.

Corrosion Protection

We coat metal strips with high demands on corrosion protection with the appropriate plastic. Areas of application are, for example, the mining industry.

Sliding properties

Wherever an excellent sliding surface combined with very good wear resistance and long-term stability is required, our plastic coatings are used.
Areas of application include for example the medical technology as well as the automotive industry.

Shaping

If a strand-shaped tension member is to be given a specific outer dimension, extrusion is a preferred option. In this process, the plastic can be equipped with reinforcements consisting of various fillers, such as glass fiber.

As a provider of innovative coating solutions, we made it our goal to set standards in quality and progress. Our coating solutions are constantly adapted to the changing needs and applications of our customers as well as those of the market.

We are certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485 certification is in preparation.
